(Actual Post Date: Feb. 23 2011)

We just wanted to give a big shout out to Brooke, Angela, Darius, Torsten, Sandy and Colleen who braved the crazy weather and completed the IMS Half Marathon this past Sunday. Brooke, Angela and Torsten PR'd and Darius now has his first half under his belt:) Colleen and Sandy should win an award for their enthusiasm and consistency! We are so amazed by your awesome finish! Brooke's time was 2:04 and Angela's finishing time was 2:15. Go Achilles!

Thanks for taking pictures Torsten!

This is what Angela had to say about the race:

"It rained some and shined some but, overall a good race. Darius ran as my main guide. Sandy did a fantastic job grabbing waters for us and he guided me too for about 1/3rd. I had a goal time of 2:15 and two Garmin's said I beat it but, the official race time was 2:15:43. I’m happy with that as my PF Chang’s time was 2:29":54. Brooke, Torsten and Colleen rocked it – little speed demons"

Just a reminder that we have workouts scheduled for this Wednesday at 6:30 p.m. and Saturday at 8:00 a.m.
