Achilles Workouts                  Stay tuned!  Now that the weather is finally cooling off we will organizing some group   

                                        workouts soon!

 

This year, we have been creating running rotations to support our athletes with Visual Impairments.  Depending on the athletes' fitness goals, the guides have been walking or running anywhere from 1 mile to 26.2 miles. 

We meet as a group once a month for a walk/run and enjoy the benefits of eating carbs after our workout is through.  Our gatherings are typically on the last Satruday of the month, time depends on the time of year.

Athletes:  We need you to create our workouts.  If you don't even know where to begin, we can help you get started!  Guides/Volunteers:  We are always looking for additional volunteers/guides to help our athletes accomplish their goals.  If interested, please contact us. 

The above map is of Chaparral Park.  When we meet at this location for a group run, it's easiest to park in the parking lot off of Hayden and Jackrabbit Rd., as we typically meet at the Ramada located directly west of Chaparral Pool.

Tempe Beach Park is the other location for our group runs.  Parking is located off of Ash/Rio Salado.  We meet at the Ramada close to the bathrooms and children's "splash-pad."
